XL WOOD SHAVINGS
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
XL Wood Shavings are made of white wood shavings having a large structure of a good quality which have been heat-treated. The shavings have a moisture level of 50-60 % and it contains no toxins or foreign bodies. The bedding has a good moisture absorption thanks to the large flakes. The advantage of using wood shavings with a high moisture level is that the moisture is released within the first 24 hours, which has a beneficial effect on the chicks and the environment in the house. XL wood shavings can be used widely but is especially suitable for broiler.

PREPARATION

Clean and disinfect the house.

Pre-heat the house 12-24 hours before the chicks are inserted (floor temperature is minimum 28-30 degrees Celsius).
HOW TO USE

Spread 1 cm layer of the bedding (approx. 1 kg per m2 corresponding to 1 big bale per 1000 m2).

The moisture is released within the first 24 hours.
